On-Site Services

Hospitality Desk - A desk will be conveniently situated in the registration area at the venue to handle inquiries related to hotels and other accommodation options. Delegates can obtain leisure and adventure trip information at the Hospitality Desk, as well as for ticket re-confirmation or for those planning to travel around Bali or to other destinations in Indonesia. The Hospitality Desk will be open during the congress opening hour.

Banking Facilities - Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are available at the Westin Hotel, connected to the venue.

Business Center - Business services such as faxing, photo-copying, and courier services are available in the hotel business center. All expenses for these facilities will be borne by personal account.

First Aid & Medical Center - Fully equipped and staffed first aid office will be located at the venue.

Internet Services - Broadband internet access in all meeting room, including Wi-Fi connection.

Information Desk - There will be an information desk to deal with all general inquiries related to the 10th SEASC 2009 located at the registration area at venue.

Praying Room - An inter-faith prayer room will be provided for the spiritual needs of all participants.

Safety & Security - There will be permanent 24-hour security staffing at the BICC during the event.

Services for disabilities people - The venue has toilet facilities and elevators equipped with special buttons which are user-friendly for people with disabilities.

Official Language - The official language of this event is English and used for all printed materials, presentations and discussions.

Simultaneous Translation - Simultaneous translation facilities will be available upon request only by payment of a fee. Please contact the Organizer if you require this facility.

Smoking Policy - Smoking will only be permitted at designated areas.

Where is Bali?

The island of Bali is part of the Republic of Indonesia and is located 8 to 9 degrees south of the equator between Java in the West and Lombok and the rest of the Lesser Sunda Islands (Sumbawa, Flores, Sumba and Timor) in the East. Flying time to Jakarta is about 1.5 hours, to Singapore and Perth (Australia) 2.5 and 3 hours, to Hong Kong about 4.5 hours, and to Sydney/Melbourne about 5.5 to 6 hours.

BALI FLIGHT INFORMATION
Don't look for "Bali" in airline time tables. It's listed as "Denpasar" (DPS) which is the name of the island's capital. However, from Bali's international Ngurah Rai Airport it takes you just 15 to 30 minutes by car to Kuta, Legian, Sanur and Nusa Dua, and in about 50 to 60 minutes you can be in Ubud.
